Upcycled vintage Meisen silk kimono and black brushed denim hat.

Meisen Kimono was in great vogue during the 1920s, with big, bold and colorful designs inspired by western modernist art (such as Art Deco, art nouveau, cubism etc..) and Japanese kimono looked quite different than they once had.
Those designs and patterns of Meisen kimono became the inspiration for Scandinavian designers and textile companies like Marimekko.
