Upcycled Vintage Meisen Silk Kimono shirt.

Meisen Kimono was in great vogue during the 1920s, with big, bold, and colorful designs inspired by western modernist art (such as Art Deco, art nouveau, cubism, etc..) and Japanese Kimono looked quite different than they once had.

Those designs and patterns of the Meisen kimono became the inspiration for Scandinavian designers and textile companies like Marimekko.

Size: one size / around UK10

All the seams are French/Enclosed seams (The cut edge of the fabric is enclosed within the seam, hiding it away to prevent fraying)

The model in the images: is 150cm in height, and usually wears UK8

As the shirt is made with Japanese vintage kimono for upcycling and remaking, you might find some stains and worn-out parts, although I try to avoid those parts.
